  I went to Cynthia the end of January to get my taxes prepared because I was wanting the advanced refund. My taxes consisted of 1 w2, a simple return, that shouldn't have taken more than an hour to prepare. It took her approximately 4 hours to prepare my taxes. She had to make several calls for assistance in the process, which, if she has as many years experience as she said she does, that shouldn't have been necessary. When we got to the advanced refund part, she told me I was approved for it and that they charge me $78 for it, but the advance should be on my prepaid card within 24 hours. The next day I find out that I was NOT approved and that my refund was being held until after Feb, 15, which she also told me it would NOT be held because I didn't claim the child tax credit. I asked her about the $78 they charged me for the advanced refund I was denied, and she told me that if they charged me that fee, she would reimburse it to me. Now I have finally received my refund and she has gone back on her word and tells me she won't refund me the $78 fee. I have her text messages still on my phone showing where she said she would refund it to me. I am overall DISSATISFIED with the whole situation. I wasted money on gas taking my taxes to her, I paid her $100 to file them when I could have done them at home myself for free, and now I'm out another $78 in fees for a refund advance that I did not get. I would NOT recommend anyone to her for her services. She will feed you a bunch of lies and tell you what you want to hear only to get herself a step ahead. I don't know how she's been in business as long as she says she has been. It really makes me wonder about her credibility. I know I personally will NOT be taking my business back to her and I certainly will NOT even think of recommending anyone to her.
